WELCOME BACK BIRDERS

Hi guys,

Hope some of you are receiving e-mails when I post. So, welcome back to school. You might be wondering when we will be having our first meeting. Let's shoot for Thursday, Sept. 5, 2:30-3:00 in Rm 115.

We will just get reacquainted and take a quick look at our plans for the upcoming year. No new members for this meeting. We will do a membership drive the following week.

Next Meeting

Our next meeting will be May 9, 230-330 pm in Room 115.  Plan to be outside. We have a field trip tentatively planned for Sunday May 12, at Lake Crabtree County Park.

April 13, 2013 - Lake Lynn Field Trip

Eight members of the club met at Lake Lynn in Raleigh NC Saturday April 13 for a 90 minutes birding trip.

We had great success, including up close looks at a Red-shouldered Hawk and Barred Owl.
